View Full Version : Tell us what you think - please
Many of you have been with us for some time now, and others have joined HostPC during the last sale. Regardless of when you joined, I'd like to get your opinions on some key issues of our business.
I'm starting a new forum, just for polls. As we come up with questions on how to progress through our business plan, we'll ask for feedback from you on which direction we should take. You can elect to just vote anonymously (must be a registered board user to vote), or to comment on the individual questions.
I sincerely value each and everyones input into these matters. It'll help pave the future for HostPC.

Hostpc has always been there when I've had problems. They're great at getting back to you within hours, if not minutes sometimes! If a tech can't seem to resolve an issue, joe seems to help you personally. The service is great and the prices are reasonable! If I had to come up with something to suggest, the only silly thing I could come up with would be something on the stats that tracks what someone has looked at on your site by their ip. HostPc is great! :D

"I stumbled upon hostpc by accident and it was so far the best accident of my life" -Mak
Wow Mak! that is a powerful statement. slightly sad but a great compliment.
I have been here for about 3 months and I must say that I adore hostpc. Joe and recently Nick have been very responsive to my requests and always seem to listen to suggestions. The uptime is great and they constantly improve their offerings such as the upgraded webmail which I love. No more 2mb hotmail inbox for me!
My only dissappointment and it is a major issue with me is that Java support is limited since there aren't many ppl on this using Java YET. I still can't seem to make a DB connection yet which means that I might have to keep my PHP and Perl clients' sites here and my Java clients elsewhere. I really wish I could just keep them all here though since I think the service is unmatched here.

How much did he pay you to say that? Just kidding. Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Haven't signed up but planning to soon.
:?:
I notice http://www.dixiesys.com/
has abandoned its theme to go after the big money....referring people to...
http://www.8-95.com/index.php?display=services
I notice the price goes up here all the time.---but still excellent....
I have asked many times.HostPc stable? All that grandfathering goes down the drain often when company name changes.
For economy the service here has been TOO GOOD...PREMIUM SERVICE...and not premium prices...
---but for the hobbyist...personal non-commercial websites...refuges from free webhosting services...we..or most..or just me? don't demand premium hosting !!!!
---just stability !!!! To set up a home..pay yearly dues...have website up most the time, etc. A personal hobby website does not demand 99.9% uptime and 5 minute support reply...but support is nice and surely would like uptime to be 90%+++++.

I've been here just over a month now, and other than a little confusion on the initial account set-up (I wasn't paying attention), I have had exactly 0 problems.
Life is good. :D
