Audiobored.Net (http://www.audiobored.net) is an interesting new service and PHP toolkit that enables a site to have a public audio message board. Call a toll-free number, punch in some codes and leave a message for the world to hear via the site.
I think the site itself is fairly new... or at least the oldest voice message on it is dated March 23. It's defintely slick. The voice messages left on the toll-free number get posted to the site in a matter of seconds.
According to the docs, the audiobored script requires an account with a VXML provider for the telephone side, but it may be possible to get free developer accounts for testing. Anyone adventurous enough to try it? :)
