Off the Shelf, Into the iPod: iTunes' Audio Bookstore

Music services such as iTunes come with a fringe benefit. They are becoming a deep repository for audiobooks. Some of these titles are obscure and hard to find in book stores, but, in a tribute to No. 4 on my list, the endless shelf space of the Internet's "Long Tail" makes it easy for Apple to carry them.
