I decided to post it here as well because it turned into a very positive review of my experiences with Joe and his wonderful staff...
... My original provider went 'dark'. After about 12 hours of this he finally posted in the forums of an 'outage'. Bottom line, 2 days later, nothing. That's when I bolted. He tried to tell us he had arranged for 'another' company to take over our accounts. But it turns out it was just another of his own creations. I had been with them a couple years and had just renewed a couple months earlier. Luckily, credit card co. got my fee back.
So I migrated to a small provider, had him for a couple of years. He had excellent communication, just like Joe and his staff. And when the time came for him to get out, he gave us a ONE YEAR warning, and continued to host our sites that final year for no cost to give us plenty of time to find another provider. It was during that free year that he arranged for Joe et al. to acquire his remaining assets. Again, great communication from Joe and his staff and the previous owner. We always were well informed about what was going on and there was never any pressure to go with HostPC. HostPC picked up the tab for our remaining time on our free year, with no guarantees that any of those clients they picked up would even stay after our time was up. But of course, it was easy to renew and stay here. Who'd want to be anywhere else. The service and communication is the best and I commend the staff. So good in fact that I sometimes feel bad taking advantage of some of the offers that Joe puts out, because they are amazing.
Anyway, I just migrated out of Florida over the weekend to one of the new servers, and of course everything went smooth and everyone was extremely helpful (thanks Dan!). I'm glad I finally found me way into the HostPC soon to be Yareo fold.
