View Full Version : Where is Spamassassin puting my user's spam?
I recently configured Spamassassin to "send the spam to appropriate user's spam folder". However, when I login to Squirrelmail under a user ID or login under the primary user ID the spam folder is always empty. I know there is plenty of spam coming in, so what am I doing wrong?
I've searched and looked at all the prior threads but can not find a solution to my problem.

This is how I have SA configured. When I use Squirrelmail to read mail I see a folder called "spam" under "Inbox" listed with the other folders (Drafts, Sent, Trash) to the left of the screen. This folder contains all email that SA marked as Spam.
I also see this spam folder when I connect with other IMAP clients (like Mozilla Thunderbird).
You are seeing the spam folder but it is always empty? I am not sure what would cause that unless you really are not getting any spam. Are you sure SA is running and enabled? If it is you will see Spam headers added to all email even ones that are not spam.

I wonder if your server has also had the extra spam filter that is described over here (http://www.hostpc.com/community/showthread.php?p=14571#post14571) installed on it.
