I'd like to introduce a new backup feature we're performing for some of our clients (beta testers) that is now available to everyone. CD Backups Mailed to you, weekly or monthly. This gives you peace of mind that your data is safe, in YOUR hands with the convenience of having the CD ROM drop shipped to your door. All orders are subscription based, and will be billed to your credit card monthly until you tell us to stop shipping!
What we are doing is performing a full site backup, with all your files (html/php/etc), databases and current mail folders. This information is backed up, recorded to CD ROM, and shipped off to you via USPS Insured, Priority Mail on a schedule you choose. For example:
Weekly Backup: We perform a full backup on your site once a week (Tuesday or Wednesday), and record to CD ROM Media. We verify the CD has written correctly, then package and ship. Packages are shipped to you weekly.
Monthly Backup: We perform a full backup on your site once a Month (15th), and record to CD ROM Media. We verify the CD has written correctly, then package and ship.
Fees for this service are (per domain):
Weekly Backup: $12.00 prepaid monthly, plus shipping options
Monthly Backup: $5.00, plus shipping options.
Shipping options:
USPS Priority Mail: $3.85 per shipment (2-3 day delivery)
So, for example, you choose a monthly backup of your single site. Your total price for the backup and USPS Priority Mail shipment is $8.85 per month.
If you choose a weekly backup option, your total price is $27.40/month ($3.85x4=$15.40 + $12).
We are not responsible for late, missing, or mis-directed mail. We provide proof of mailing for each package, on the date they're shipped, via e-mail. If you choose signature (Restricted Delivery), the post office is responsible for insuring that a signature is obtained for each package. Delivery Confirmation is provided for all shipments on request. Shipping fees are not refundable.
