I'm happy to announce that a contract was signed this morning for our new offices to be located at 600 Franklin Street, Suite 112, Schenectady New York. Our official move in date is March 1, 2006.
These offices will be the center of our Technical Support, Billing and Sales teams and will be staffed throughout the day.
We're still finalizing plans for necessities like a local loop for voice and High Speed Internet - but we expect that to be completed by mid February. Our datacenters will remain in their current locations, and this move will not affect any customers, other than providing phone support directly in the offices.
This is a major step forward for HostPC, we're VERY excited about the move and our continued growth. We're so excited, that we're considering a two-for-one sale very soon, if you're interested :)
With this move, we're looking for LOCAL talent for web design services that is looking for office space and is willing to work on a contract / contingent scale with HostPC. A qualified person will be given the opportunity to "sub rent" office space at a significantly reduced rate - and will be contracted with to design web sites. The proper individual will have experience with basic internet operations, significant web design / graphic skills and be able to work in MySQL/ PHP and HTML. If you have those qualifications, we've got the perfect spot for you. Contact me directly, and we can work out details. Phone / Internet and office furnishings will be provided. This can be on a full time or part time basis - you make the decision.
We're also looking for Linux system administrators to work on new projects we've got in development. Similar to the above situation, this is a perfect opportunity to branch out on your own - have an office to work from and continue your skills in a professional atmosphere.
