Joe put me in control of the Reseller servers and told me to fill it. What better way to fill it...lets just give it away?? HostPC Internet Services is famous for their 2 for 1 deals. So, lets just fill this server with a 2 for 1 Labor Day Blowout!

How does this work some of the newcomers say? You buy one of our three reseller packages for normal price and we give you double quotas for the price of a single package.

On top of this, I'm promoting the multi-site package. The purpose of the multi-site package is for someone that doesn't want to resell packages, but has 2 or 3 sites of their own. We can set you up to have one control panel login to maintain all sites you own. Same deal for those. You buy the normal package and we doulbe the quotas for the price of the single package.

Here's the rules:

Applies to upgrades and new accounts only (a new account is defined as a hosting account on a domain we haven't hosted in at least 90 days or an individual we haven't had as a reseller for at least 90 days)

Applies to both multi-site accounts and reseller accounts

Does not apply to domain registration, or any other add on service.

Cancelling your account and signing up during the sale will not yield 2 for 1 on the same domain name unless you are upgrading to a higher priced plan.

You can upgrade your current plan to a higher level and take advantage of the 2 for 1.

You can double the set plan sizes on our quoted multi-site and reseller pages only, specially designed packages are NOT elegible for this promotion.

The plan will stay with you as long as you remain a customer in good standing with HostPC - if you later upgrade during a period where 2 for 1 is not being offered you revert back to a non-doubled plan

Our 30 day money back guarantee is not price protection, it is to be used if you are dissatisfied with our service - not to cancel and sign up during the sale

The concept of the 2 for 1 sale is to attract new business and promote upgrading.

when you say double quotas, do you mean double the amount of storage, bandwidth, and number of sites for the price of one?

Exactly correct, curious.

Is anybody ready for this sale? I'm really pumped up about this sale. I want to blow server 7 out of the water and make Joe give up that other server he is holding tightly too.

Eastern time Joe? Haha...I'm overriding Joe on this one...we are starting Central time (CST). I don't believe your going to find a better deal than this resellers. And let us not forget our multi-site package clients. Hope to see you guys and gals come Friday!!!

So if you start at 9pm Central time, that means it would be 10pm Eastern time? Just wanted to make sure I understood correctly and that we'll have to wait an extra hour.

Hello chlucy

Ack...I didn't have my calculations right. I was thinking if we moved it to CST we would be starting an hour earlier. Let's just keep the same time before I confuse myself even more. :?

I'll just move it back a day. :D This sale is starting Thursday, August 28 at 9pm EST through Monday, Sept. 1 at midnight EST

Hi Nick

can I just get some clarifications?

I am about to sign up on my 3rd Back to School plan

can you just give me some technical comparisions?

what do I get extra if I 'upgrade' to the 3 site (or 5 site) reseller plan?

how much more will it cost me?

or do I still get more bandwidth and cost saving with the 3 Back to School deals?

Joe

Basically, you'll still get more with the 3 back to school plans.

New Resellers and MultiSite owners - please PM Joe or Nick for access to the resellers area - there's information in there that will be helpful to you to get going with your new reseller or multi-site account.

I have one Small reseller plan that was doubled, and am considering whether to buy a second Small plan or upgrade to a Medium plan.

2 smalls vs 1 medium:
2400 MB vs 2400 MB = same
32 GB vs 36 GB = 4GB more
70 sites vs 80 sites = close enough to same (wouldn't go over 40 or 50)
$240/yr vs $270/yr

So it all comes down to paying $30 more per year for 4GB bandwidth. I don't anticipate needing that extra bandwidth because I expect to package 1GB with each 100MB sold -- that produces an extra 8 GB right there. Seems like the better deal is to get 2 Smalls. Am I missing anything?

Let me ask it another way: What is the incentive for buying a Medium or Large reseller plan? The Small plan gives the same for less cost --
1 Small: $120
2 Smalls: 240 vs 1 Medium: $270
4 Smalls: 480 vs 1 Large: $520

You get a little more bandwidth by paying more for the Medium or Large plan. Is bandwidth such a desired commodity? Guess it depends on the site.

One large on a server, versus 4 smalls possibly spread over multiple servers. If a server is near full, I would never put a "large" reseller on it, but might be able to squeeze one or two smalls on there. It's just a matter of logistics.

All packages are stackable, and you could theoretically have 4 smalls, each on a different reseller server.

Due to the OVERWHELMING response to the reseller 2/1 sale - especially the multi-site packages, I'm going to extend this sale until midnight on 9/5 ... a couple more days to take advantage of this great savings. After that, it's all over!

Common question: Does this apply to upgrades? Yes, any current customer can upgrade during this 2/1 sale.
