Custom Sa Filters...

I know it's possible to put my own custom filters in place, but was wondering one thing. Does SA have to be restarted on the server to take effect? I tried adding a custom filter set and sent a test message and SA never marked the message with my new rules (even when the message i sent should have been marked).

Thanks for the info on getting SA to see my new ruleset.

basketclothes, I don't use custom filters myself, but I can tell you that AFAIK, no one has ever asked the helpdesk to reboot a server or do anything to SpamAssassin to make custom filters work.
