Rss Feed / Blog For Hostpc

Jeff has setup an RSS Feed for HostPC - for those of you that use a news aggregator. We'll be posting announcements, etc that concern all customers to this RSS, as well as special RSS/Blog only specials.

We're working on also publishing to a secondary, offsite source in case of datacenter or network issues.

Just another way to update you if there's something that affects your accounts here at HostPC.

What's the latest on the RSS feed?

I went to the link and it was dead.

We'll be putting up another one. When Jeff left our staff, he refused to hand over passwords for blog administration... so it's dead for now.

For now, the easiest way to stay on top of events is by subscribing to this forum for new announcments. This particular forum "HostPC Happenings" will only contain posts started by HostPC staff - and often are important announcements.

Joe, if you'd like another RSS feed, let's discuss a price to set up a replacement. I declined your request to hand over the password that admins all 3 of my blogs, and as I related at the time, there is no provision in Blogger for a user who's not an admin to edit posts.

Doesn't Mambo have a way to create RSS feeds of posted news or anything? Seems it should...isn't that common in most CMS's these days?

hope I didn't stir up a hornet's nest.. I just discovered RSS and have been using it mostly for news feeds from newspapers and blogs... great time saver :)
