In the next 24 hours, I hope to have completed the purchase of another hosting company, and their clients/assets - bringing more customers to the HostPC "family". I'll post more information on this purchase when it's finalized.

In the background, we'll be bringing in a new technician hopefully starting next week that will assist in our helpdesk and forums. Again, a more formal introduction as soon as that deal is finalized.

Conversion of these forums to vBulletin. We'll be converting to the vBulletin format here possibly as early as this weekend to handle our increased traffic flow and provide a better layout for our customers.

HostPC will be, maybe already is, moving into "acquisiton mode". What this means is that we'll actively be seeking companies that fit with our core philosophy of customer service, hosting with the DirectAdmin control panel (or companies seeking to transfer from Ensim or Plesk) - to merge with the HostPC family. We've started the "acquisition" - and will be beefing up that effort over the coming weeks/months. If anyone with knowledge of a company that is considering such a merger wants to contact me directly - that can be done via email to: joe@hostpc.com

Thanks for your continued support!

Joe

Sounds great, Joe. I'll offer an early "Congratulations!" on the closing of your deal.

I have a question about the board, if I may. What is the impetus to change to vBulletin?

And I'm assuming you'll be transitioning all discussions over to the new board. There are some things on here I'll like to keep. (Come to think of it, I guess this change will break my bookmarked discussions, won't it? Hmmm. Nuts.)
