WOOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! All that msn bot crawling paid off. On my Cafe She site, when I do a search on womens day magazine -or- womens magazine -or- womens online magazine... it pops up #1 on the list!!!!!!! It may not be google but msn isn't a search engine to sneeze at either. LOL I think I may just be gettin' better at this stuff.
And you wanted to STOP it ?? :)
Congrats - nice job!

nice work, now, keep it there, thats the hard part...
MSN is surely worth the time and effort of high rankings...very highly visible and highly used search engine.

Seriously, the subject of SEO can become very ruthless. I have seen people do some wacky stuff to get ahead.
The best advice I can give (for whatever it's worth) is to do it "the right way" don't use sneaky or underhanded tricks to beat them...I say this for several reasons. The biggest being that the big search engines (Google, MSN, AOL, etc) are always looking for ways to improve by changing their algorhtyhms and seeing how people are ranking, if they catch on to a trick that has gotten past them, there is a chance they change that factor of the equation, and, in addition, sometimes ban the people that have used the tactic.
Also, if a competitior shops you and finds you doing something sneaky, they will report you to the search engine for trickery, which can also get you banned.
It sounds silly and childish, but it's a big business...and it happens.

No biggie here Dan. You've probably figured out by now that I'm not the underhanded or sneaky type. I figure if I can't be up front about it and get it honestly, then I don't want it to begin with. :) I will just keep chuggin' along and try to keep up with what the SE's want.
