Spamassassin Is Down On My Server

I split these posts out of another thread as a reminder to our valued clients that SpamAssassin outages can be addressed more quickly at the helpdesk. SA does go down occasionally and since we don't have email accounts on every server, it's impossible for us to monitor. I'm not singling out thevillageinn. :)

I was going to reply with some helpful info, but unfortunately got this...

Thanks for letting us know about this Dan. We just brought SpamAssassin back up on your server. FWIW, it would have been restored faster if you (or anyone else on your server) had opened a ticket. The helpdesk is monitored 24x7, but the forums are watched less closely.

I know a ticket is the way to go, but honestly, I was too busy and lazy to log in and submit one, for something non-critical like spamassassin.

lol...I know. It is a handy tool to have when it seems every day brings more spam.
