December 1, 2004 - New Trivia Tournament W Prizes!

Ok, seems like this trivia has been drawing some FIERCE competition between players.... so, let's make the stakes a little more interesting.

A new tournament will start on December 1, 2004 - and run until December 31, 2004.

Top 5 players at the end of December will be awarded prizes as follows:


1st Place: 1 yr of budget web hosting at HostPC Internet Services
(does not include domain name registration) - <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>AND a $10 gift certificate to THINK GEEK (http://www.hostpc.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=75&Itemid=33)

2nd Place: 6 months of budget web hosting at HostPC Internet Services (does not include domain name registration).

3rd Place: $10 gift certificate to THINK GEEK (http://www.hostpc.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=75&Itemid=33)

4th Place: HostPC T-Shirt or HostPC Mousepad (http://www.hostpc.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=120&Itemid=2)

Here's some groundrules.

1. HostPC Employees and Interns are allowed to Play, but their scores/ranking will be ignored for the purposes of this contest.

2. Winner will be determined on or about January 1, 2004 based on the Cumulative Scores (http://www.funtrivia.com/private/cumulative.cfm?tid=5606) as of December 31, 2004. Winners from December will also progress to the Hall of Fame (http://http://www.funtrivia.com/private/halloffame.cfm?tid=5606).

3. The determination of a winner will be the sole discretion of the management/staff of HostPC Internet Services (http://www.hostpc.com).

4. This contest starts December 1, 2004 and ends on December 31, 2004.

5. In the event of fraud, manipulation of entries, or failure of the 3rd party trivia provider, the winner will be selected by HostPC based on overall performance.

6. This contest is sponsored by HostPC, and is not endorsed by, or sanctioned by, Funtrivia.com or ThinkGeek.com

7. In the event of a TIE. we shall have a one day "run-off" until a winner is declared.
