Sorry if this is a stupid question. I signed up for the tidalwave package, but I'm a little confused now. Do I need to go purchase the domain name on the side? I guess I figured that signing up for the package (a domain) included the domain name registration. Is this not the case?

Yes,you also need to register a domain name as well. You can register a name through HostPC by going here HostPC domain registration (https://www.registryrocket.com/default.asp?ec=URJYRKUAPPQ98NYKXNQDYTC)
You do not have to register a domian through us but we offer the service as a convenience for our customers.

I'm having some trouble with the domain registration page. It doesn't ever seem to really finish processing. I ended up clicking the button again. Is it possible that I've registered twice now and will be charged twice? I just wanted the domain for 1 year. 58cyclesucks.com

Seems like a lot of trouble to go thru to just bad-mouth somebody.

I've wasted thousands of dollars on my little situation, why not a couple more...

Mike, you should open a helpdesk ticket to make sure this is addressed.

There is a link at the top of this page to the Helpdesk.

So, when you sign up and get to the page that looks a bit like this:

Select Hosting Targets

Extra Hosting
Plan Target Domain Cost
budgeta [12 months] mydomain.com $ 15.98
subtotal $ 15.98

You're entering mydomain.com (in this example) because... they assume you already own the domain name? There's just a lot of talk about "your domain" which I suppose they mean "your hosted site", not actually your domain name.

-------
Also, I got an email titled "Receipt for Order A1900...". In it it says:

Should your order contain hosting space for domains which you have not purchased or registered with us, please use the following DNS entries that your domains point to our servers:

ns19a.hostpc.com
ns19b.hostpc.com

And another email titled "Your account is now ready for use." says:
You must use these dns servers for your domain. They can be changed through your domain registrar.

NS1: ns20a.hostpc.com
NS1 IP: 198.87.87.160
NS2: ns20b.hostpc.com
NS2 IP: 198.87.87.161
[/CODE]

So, first, in my control panel, I have ns20a and ns20b specified. When I registered my domain it had ns19a and ns19b specified. Which do I use?
